The Magellan ™ 9300i combines scanner and scale functions, an ideal choice for super markets and retailers!

Datalogics Magellan ™ 9300i is a sophisticated and integrated system that serves store cashiers, scanning and weighing products simultaneously. It weighs up to 15 kg with a subdivision of 2 grams for the first 6 kg and 5 grams for more than 6 kg, while it has the ability to read all 1D and 2D barcodes, without requiring product orientation from the checkout.

In full development it works with POS touch screens or self-checkout systems, payment terminals and printers, while maintaining ergonomic comfort for both seated and standing cashiers!

It offers convenience and speed to employees and customers, it reads barcodes from smartphones, while the cashier continues to scan the products and objects at the same time, resulting in a significant reduction of the total transaction time!

Innovative features and options such as ScaleSentry ™ tracking / shrinkage prevention technology, AllWeighs ™ and support for all major EAS systems make the 9300i specifically designed to help retailers reduce crowding at POS checkouts. Monitors the 2 main sides of the scale plate with an infrared (invisible) beam to detect if fruit or product has been misplaced on the scale plate causing the item to be underweighed. Misplaced fruit or produce will break an infrared beam and trigger an alert at the register, preventing the weight from being transmitted to the POS until the cashier corrects the problem
