- Device security: only authorized users have access to the device, authenticated by ID and password, which can be compared to login details in Active Directory or LDAP directory. THE
automatic disconnection provides additional protection against unauthorized user access to the device

- User security: individual permissions can be set for each user so that users only have access to appropriate or necessary scanning options and features

- Document security: scanned documents, such as confidential files, can be sent as encrypted and password-protected PDFs, so you can control access for viewing, editing and printing. Additionally, no copies of scanned documents are stored on the device
